Withit Witch THE HALESOWEN KNITTING CENTRE You can Order From AVON at this shop

ABOUT US

Withit Witch was first opened in Halesowen back in September 2006.  At that time we stocked mainly Sirdar, backed up with Stylecraft and James C Brett.  Soon after opening we took in DMC, stocking threads, fabrics and some kits.  A Derby shop closure in 2008 helped us to double in size, and we took on some Rowan yarns.  Unfortunately, the Rowan didn't take off in the area, so our stocks were sold off.

In August 2009, the shop moved from the outskirts of Halesowen into the Town Centre.  We are now located in a lovely old property - the oldest shop in Halesowen, built in approximately 1452.  We know we aren't alone here!  But its a lovely atmosphere.

SERVICES

Lay-Aside

We offer a 6 week lay-aside service.  This means that you are able to spread the cost of your yarn over a 6 week period, you only need to take the amount of yarn you need to complete your project (as we are unable to take returns of yarn), you may be unsure as to whether or not you will like the yarn, so by taking a ball to try and laying the rest aside means that if you don't like it you haven't wasted money as the yarn can go back out on sale.

Special Orders

Whilst we do stock a large proportion of the Sirdar range, and also other yarns from Stylecraft, James C Brett, and West Yorkshire Spinners, there may still be yarns that you require that we don't stock.  For these, we can order full packs for you.  Our terms for these orders are: that you complete an order form agreeing to buy the complete order when it comes in; that you pay a 50% non-refundable deposit for the yarn, this means that should you not come in to collect the order we aren't left with yarn that we can't normally sell as we can offer it at a discount; for yarns that we don't stock, we charge 90% of the rrp, so for instance a pack of yarn that would normally cost £20 would only cost you £18.

Knitting Service

We do offer a knitting service, based on the knitting up 50g balls of yarn, with an additional sewing up charge.  Please ask for details.
